I do remember you telling me at the baseball game that you felt PV would be worse this year. Your daddy even agreed but I kinda feel you two may be in for a surprise. If I remember correctly these kids played some pretty good 8th grade ball. But my memory is not my best quality.Only time will tell though.

Powell Valley will probably be pretty rough this coming season.

My LPD predictions:

1. Clintwood-no one in the LPD will touch them I don't think.

2. Burton-should still be decent.

3. Kelly-Them and PV will fight for third..

4. PV-feel awkward saying this about PV but they have gone way downhill.

5. Appalachia-another program that has gone downhill. They have had several rough seasons.

6. Pound-what can I say?

While there is no way I would put Pound anywhere but last in the district they did pick up a new coach (Hicks)

It will be interesting to see if he can shake things up there any

Gc vs. Richlands should be a great game! Too bad it isnt toward the end of the season. Both teams return almost their entire lineup.
